Tutor Requirements at Monties EduWorld
We are seeking qualified tutors who meet the following criteria:
- Tertiary Education: A bachelor's degree or higher in any field.
- TEFL Certification or Degree in Education: A TEFL certification or a degree in education is required.
- Computer Literacy: Comfortable with using online platforms and digital tools.
- Experience in Online Teaching: Previous experience teaching online is preferred.
- No Criminal Record: A clean background check is required.
- Clear English Pronunciation: Good, clear English pronunciation is essential for effective communication.
Video and Live Class Background Requirements
- Clean Background: Tutors must ensure that the background is a plain, uncluttered wall with nothing on it (no windows, paintings, or clocks).
- Quiet Environment: No distractions like barking dogs, crying children, or people coming in and out of the video during live sessions.
- Good Lighting and Sound: The workstation should have proper lighting, and the sound quality must be clear to ensure an effective learning environment.
Clothing Guidelines
- Dress Code: All tutors are required to wear a white shirt, blue pants (or skirt), and red accessories, which are the brand colors of Monties EduWorld.

HOW TO BECOME A TUTOR AT MONTIES EDUWORLD
Here’s a checklist to ensure you meet the requirements for joining Monties EduWorld as a tutor:
Do you have all the requirements?
Ensure you meet the educational and certification requirements (bachelor’s degree or higher, TEFL or Degree in Education).
Do you have the correct technical requirements?
Make sure you have a computer, webcam, microphone, and stable internet connection.
Do you have the correct colors for dressing each time with the same colors as mentioned above?
Dress in the required attire: white shirt, blue pants (or skirt), and red accessories/tie.
Is your workstation neat and tidy, and are you planning lessons and PDFs prior to recording lessons?
Organize your workstation and prepare your lessons and materials in advance.
Did you test your internet speed?
Test your internet speed to ensure it is suitable for live sessions and video lessons.
Do you know how to draw up a PDF?
Ensure you are familiar with creating and sharing PDFs as part of your lesson planning.
